Smriti Mandhana is an Indian cricketer who has been playing for Indian team. Her career’s first ODI on 10 April 2013 and that time, she played against Bangladesh. And her last ODI on 19 February 2016 against Sri Lanka. She played her first test match on 13 August 2014 against England. Her bowling is also the best part of her career and her bowling style is Seam bowling and her batting style is Left-hand batswomen.
She was born on 18 July 1996 in Mumbai to Smita and Shrinivas Mandhana. In her family, she has one sibling Shravan Mandhana. When she was only two year old, her family moved to Sangli in Maharashtra, and there, she completed her education and she and her brother both played cricket at state level.
She thought for her career in cricket after watching cricket of her brother at the Maharashtra state Under-16s tournaments. In her age of 9, she was selected for the Maharashtra under 15 team. And after two year, she was selected for the Maharashtra under 19 team.
Her full family attached with cricket back ground. Her father Shrinivas was a chemical distributor, who had been caring her during her practice and her brother had been helping her as a bowler and her mother became a part of her diet, cloths and other organisation aspects.
Smriti Mandhana Domestic Career :
Her first achievement was in 2013 for the first Indian woman, who made a double-hundred in a one-day game. And when she was playing for Maharashtra against Gujarat, that time she was nailed it through her score 224 on 150 balls in the West Zone Under-19 Tournament, in the Alambic Cricket Ground in Vadodara.
Smriti Mandhana International Career:
She started her career in 2014 with test match against England at Wormsley Park. She helped Indian team for becoming a winning team through her score 22 and 51 in two matches respectively.
