Mehdi Ordikhani-Seyedlar is a computational neuroscientist, researching brain signals and their usage in brain-machine interfaces. He has interesting topic, where he has been working, basically he researches on brain-wave patterns generated by neural activities in the brain.
He works on embarking on his research on neuroscience, Ordikhani-Seyedlar, which have been working with different kinds of brain functions like: memory, learning, pain and visual attention of humans.
He has worked as a researcher in Dr. Miguel Nicolelis’ lab at Duke University. There, he learned so many things about brain machine interface.
After completing his Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering, he was appointed for postdoctoral position by Duke University and he got this opportunity for his work of large-scale neuronal activity and brain-machine interfaces. But due some political problem, he decided that he continue his research outside US.
He has achieved so much in very short time but everything was possible by his hard work and his dedication on his work. He has come many time in TED Talks.
