Veda Krishnamurthy is an Indian cricketer of women’s cricket team of India. She started her career in cricket on 30 June 2011 with international cricket in a one day international match India vs England and that match was done at Derby. She has been serving as a right hand batswoman and right arm leg-break.
Biography: Veda Krishnamurthy was born on 16 Oct 1992 in Chikmagalur. In her family, she has one sibling Vatsala Shivakumar. Her family belongs from Kadur, Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
Achievements: In 2011, she went in cricket field with her debut of ODI match against England. After that she was picked for B-grade contract list, where it was first time BCCI offered contracts to women players in 2015.
International Career: First ODI was on 30 June 2011 against England and last was on 15 Feb 2016 against Sri Lanka. Her jersey no. in ODI is 79. Her first T20 was on 11 June 2011 against Australia and last was on 31 Jan 2016 against Australia. In T20’s matches, she also wears 79 no. T-shirt.
Domestic Career: She played at her state level (Karnataka) from 2009 to 2014. And she started playing for railway since 2015 and now also she has been playing.
Total her ODI matches are 17 and T20 are 23 and score are 236 and 251 respectively. Her batting average of ODI is 16.85 and T20 is 14.766. Her 7 half centuries are in ODI.
